The Communion Table design had to be substantial but of light appearance as the Snow Drop Chapel is a small room.

The detail on the front replicates the stone work of the window, which originally featured in the Glasgow Maternity Hospital (prior to demolition).

The Carving is of snow drops, ‘the first flower of the Spring’.
