Argyle Collection Circa. 1897
Three examples of the Argyle Street Tearoom chairs. On
the left is instantly recognisable with the large oval head rail
and the stylised 'flying bird' cut through this oval.
To the right, an Argyle Carver chair with solid timber seat and
a Margaret Mackintosh inspired design of pewter panel. Also offered
is the option of a clan crest or coat of arms inserts as opposed
to Mackintosh designs.
The centre photograph is of an Argyle Side Chair, similar in dimension
to the Low Back Ingram Chair although subtle difference in design.
