Hill House Ladder Back circa 1904. Mackintosh designed this chair for Walter Blackie. The original Ladder Back chairs can still be seen in their original setting in the main bedroom of the Hill House, Helensburgh. As with the chairs in the Hill House, our reproduction Ladder Back chairs are very fine, and are recommended only as ornamental additions to a room setting.
