Hill House Ladder Back circa 1904. Mackintosh designed this chair for Walter Blackie. The original Ladder Back chairs can still be seen in their original setting in the main bedroom of the Hill House, Helensburgh. As with the chairs in the Hill House, our reproduction Ladder Back chairs are very fine, and are recommended only as ornamental additions to a room setting.

Blackie Desk Chair circa 1904. A chair designed to compliment the Writing Desk Mackintosh designed for Walter Blackie the publisher. Mackintosh also had this chair commissioned for himself.
