Bassett-Lowke Chair
This chair was never made in Mackintosh's lifetime. From the original
drawings it is suggested that it was part of an elaborate design
for Basset-Lowke at Candida Cottage. There is also a suggestion
that this design may have been intended for the Dug-Out, a private
room in the Willow Tearooms.
Bruce was commissioned by a client in USA for these chairs and has
produced a sample for the Mackintosh Exhibition in Port Vendres,
France (Summer 2004).
